Dreamy Light

I like to play with out of focus images too. This image was made as I sprawled on the grass with my camera in the grass and the tilt screen pulled out. The light was so pretty and it is a shame that it lasts only for a few seconds and then drifts away.

Trembling Leaves

I walked out in my little grove today and tried to find the last little bit of green
before the winter rolls in.

Through the Lensbaby Blog Circle: October

What is October without orange leaves? It is my favorite, and often far too short, time of year. I just captured the tip of one leaf this morning in my haste to run errands. The colors of the violet sky agains the orange leaves made me stop in my tracks. The wind was intense, so I was glad to capture even a fragment of a leaf in focus. :)

Our new kitty, Winter Soldier, was still hunkered down with his little owner this morning. I snuck in and captured one frame before they both decided they had had enough. :)

The Canon Dream Lens Test Shots

Well, I purchased a vintage lens of some renown last week. I have a Sony a7s and my 85L would not manually focus on it. I LOVE blur and bokeh, so that was a problem for me. I decided to trade that lens for one that I could manually focus and this one kept calling to me. I found it in the vintage dept. of a large camera store and it was so exciting!

Here are a few test images.

Click Away 2014!

I will admit. I did not rock the camera this trip. I was crazy busy and a lot of these are with my phone, but I had THE best time in Salt Lake City this past week!

These are in no particular order! The days ran together and so did my images, haha! All images are either iPhone or Sony a7s with Lensbaby Edge 80. All are in-camera jpegs too.

I'm sorry folks. I didn't take any people pics. They would have all been blurry anyway since I was running the whole time, lol! I lost five pounds in three days!

Packing and Prepping....

Main Street Noodle in Park City hooked me up with a gluten free veggie burger!

Had a great time at the Natural History Museum

I spent a LOT of time here, so I naturally had to capture it many different ways. :)

Wheeler Farm made me happy by giving me some flowers to love on....

Even the grasshoppers were in love. :)

Good bye, SLC!
